Thanks to the data collected by DX-Sherlock in its VHF and UHF QSO database, now you can receive by E-Mail personalized warnings of the propagation openings on the bands you are interested in. Differently from other propagation warning systems DX-Sherlock will only send you warnings that are meaningful for you. For instance, if you whish, you won't receive sporadic-E or tropo warnings of openings that take place in another part of the continent. This is a global warning system, what means that it works either if you are in Europe, or in America, or anywhere else in the world.
As a demonstration you can see some examples of the E-Mails that DX-Sherlock would generate for a station located in JM19 square.
If you have already subscribed the warning system you can change your settings or unsubscribe entering below your E-Mail and your Password. If you have not subscribed yet you can do it easily now.
If you want to change the E-Mail address where you receive the warnings, you have to log in and unsubscribe with your old address, then subscribe again with a new E-Mail.
Important notices:
E-Mails sent by DX-Sherlock are sometimes interpreted as "spam" by some anti-spam programs and mail servers. Make sure that none of them are filtering them out. If you don't receive E-Mails from DX-Sherlock this is likely to be the reason. Some mail servers that often block E-Mails are AOL, Verizon.net, gmal.com, i-2000.com, Hotmail, enter.net and Chello.at. If you do not receive DX-Sherlock's E-Mails please contact your mail-server provider.
In order to receive the warnings in your mobile phone, it must be capable of receiving E-Mail. Almost all mobile phone companies provide this possibility nowadays, although some of them have an extra cost. If you don't know how to configure it or you want to know the cost of receiving E-Mails please contact your mobile phone company.
Your E-Mail and the rest of the information you provide will not be used for any other purpose than sending you propagation warnings.
Looks like this could be a very valuable site for propagation warnings.
Can't wait til cycle 24 kicks into high gear!

Hi Gabriel,
really great site.
Must be quite interesting to see the map when cycle 24 is on fire with many
F2-contacts worldwide.
Still remember 1978/79 and 1989/91. But the next will have much more
activity worldwide !
You are very busy to the amateur radio community.
by the way : when you are on sleep ??

Hello Mauricio,
Along with propagation warnings, I would find it useful if I received an
e-mail notification when my beacon is spotted. Is this possible without
considerable code development?
Tnx

What a wonderful tool !! I have been collecting data for my own use, for

Great website.
Excellent proof of concept on the map!
Great information service!!!
As a mapping professional I would like to see many changes to improve the
visualization, I'll contact you about how to tweak the symbology with the
API you are using.
