How to make new ADF |
Most usual awards (DXCC, WAC, WAZ, etc.) are built in VQLog's code. For other awards based on working references VQLog supports up to 30 simultaneous user-defined awards.
Although any award of this kind can be defined by the user without the need of an ADF file, it's advisable to define it associated to its corresponding ADF file, so that the program is capable of offering additional features like:
Input format checking
Selecting the reference from a list
Making summaries of references not worked / not confirmed.

(*1) Requires
entering/selecting the country code. It's not assumed automatically yet. Also
notice that if you were using a former version of this ADF it could happen that
you have to manually change the reference of some QSO in order to adapt it to
the new version.
(*2) Because of the fact that there
is not a standard coding for the references of this award (Counties), it could
happen that older references entered in the log before using the ADF will not
match those currently defined in the file. It's up to you to decide whether or
not to use the ADF in case you had already logged US counties.
(*3) El manager del diploma ha
cambiado algunas referencias. Siguen con el mismo numero, pero pasan de tener
tres digitos a cuatro. El listado del VQLOG de este diploma, dice que esa
referencia no existe, si introdujimos en su dia la antigua referencia. Manuel,
EA7TB, está trabajando para hacer un programa para cambiar este error. Estara
listo a finales de enero.

Download the file corresponding to the award you are interested in, by clicking on its link in the table above.
Unzip it and place the extracted .MDB file into the \AWARDS subfolder of VQLog in your hard disk.
Run VQLog, go to "Configuration - Awards" and either add or update a user-defined award, associating it to the file.
Developing ADF files is easy if you can use MS-Access. If you wish to create your own files then E-Mail VQLog's support and you will be provided with more information on how to do it.
If you are a registered user and need an ADF for other awards please let me know and I will do my best to develop it, always depending on time availability.
Also, if you notice that some reference is wrong or missing in some ADF please contact the person responsible of maintaining the file (right column). Only if you cannot contact him then you can E-Mail VQLog's support with detailed information on the ADF and the wrong/missing reference(s).
