TABLAS.MDB file update

Dear VQLog user,

First of all you must find out which version of VQLog you have installed right now. In order to do so run your copy of VQLog and go to "Help - About"....here you will read the version number in the logo window.

If you currently have VQLog 3.1 installed

• Download the file TABLAS31.ZIP and save it in some temporary folder of your hard disk (C:\TEMP\VQLOG , for instance)
• UnZip it and extract the file TABLAS.MDB
• Make sure that VQLog is NOT currently running in your computer. Otherwise quit it.
• Copy this new file TABLAS.MDB to the folder where you have VQLog installed (By default it should be in C:\Program files\VQLog 3....) replacing the existing (older) file
• Run VQLog normally
• If you downloaded this file in order to make use of the new modes supported, remember that if you have mode restrictions you will also have to add the new modes to your restriction-list (Configuration - Program options - Restrictions - Modes)

This version of TABLAS.MDB file for VQLog 3.1:

• Grid square / Locator Callbook has been updated: 30052 new callsigns have been added and 24645 records have been updated.  The callbook contains now the Square / Locator of 154648 callsigns.
• Supports new satellites VO-52, SO-67 and HO-68
• Improves the location of the district of several Italian prefixes (IK, IZ, IW, etc.)
• Improves the location of 4O prefixes as Montenegro
• Updates the list of modes to be considered as "digital" by the program.
• Correctly locate the E51 prefix for South Cook Is.
• Correctly locates the following non-standard callsigns:
  • TO3EME in FY (French Guyana)
  • K5D y KP5 (Desecho Is.)
• Supports the importation of Cabrillo files with the "Expedición HF" and "Expedición VHF-UHF-Microondas" formats generated by WinURECon.
• Supports the importation of Cabrillo files for the "IARU-HF", "ARI INTERNATIONAL DX CONTEST", "CONCURSO XYL DE ESPAÑA", "NACIONAL DE FONIA", "Nacional de Sufijos", "DME", "RDAC",  "DARC-WAEDC-SSB", "REF-SSB", "EPC-WW-DX" and "SAC-SSB" contests.
• Supports logging of Digital Voice mode (DV) for D-Star, etc. contacts
• Supports the new digital modes QPSK-31, QPSK-63, QPSK-125, DominoEx-4, DominoEx-8 , DominoEx-16, JT2, JT4A, JT4B, JT4C, JT4D, JT4E, JT4F, JT4G, JT64A, WSPR
• Location of 8J1 prefixes has been improved (some are from Antarctica and most from Japan)
• Prefixes for stations in Taiwan have been revised
• Location of CT8 prefix for Azores has been added
• Correct the location EX-Kyrgyzstan ITU zones

If you currently have VQLog 3.0B installed

• Download the file TABLAS30B.ZIP and save it in some temporary folder of your hard disk (C:\TEMP\VQLOG , for instance)
• UnZip it and extract the file TABLAS.MDB
• Make sure that VQLog is NOT currently running in your computer. Otherwise quit it.
• Copy this new file TABLAS.MDB to the folder where you have VQLog installed (By default it should be in C:\Program files\VQLog 3....) replacing the existing (older) file
• Run VQLog normally
• If you downloaded this file in order to make use of the new modes supported, remember that if you have mode restrictions you will also have to add the new modes to your restriction-list (Configuration - Program options - Restrictions - Modes)

This version of TABLAS.MDB file for VQLog 3.0B:

• Contains an updated Callsign/Locator database. 29066 new callsigns have been added and 41368 have been updated since last version. Now it contains the locator of 124597 stations!
• Supports the new DXCC entities Montenegro (YU6 / 4O3), Swain's Island (KH8SI) and FJ (Saint Barthelemy)
• Supports the new prefix E7 for Bosnia-Herzegovina
• Supports new modes JT65A, JT65B, JT65C, PSK125, OLIVIA, CHIP64, CHIP128, CONTESTIA, RTTYM, MFSK8, MFSK16
• Supports new satellites AO-51, VO-52, NO-61
• Supports new satellite modes V/U, U/V, V/S, U/S
• Supports new propagation mode ACS (Aircraft scatter)
• Corrects the location of TX9 operation from Chesterfield Is.
• Corrects the DXCC assignation of certain 4N, YU, YT & YZ prefixes to Serbia & Montenegro

If you currently have VQLog 3.0A installed

• Download the file TABLAS30A.ZIP and save it in some temporary folder of your hard disk (C:\TEMP\VQLOG , for instance)
• UnZip it and extract the file TABLAS.MDB
• Make sure that VQLog is NOT currently running in your computer. Otherwise quit it.
• Copy this new file TABLAS.MDB to the folder where you have VQLog installed (By default it should be in C:\Program files\VQLog 3....) replacing the existing (older) file
• Run VQLog normally

This version of TABLAS.MDB file for VQLog 3.0A:

• Corrects the abbreviations of MHz and kHz that were wrong.
• Corrects the location of AY1ZA (South Orkney Isl.)
• Changes the old denomination of "Yugoslavia" for the new "Serbia & Montenegro" according to the DXCC table of ARRL.
• Updates location of stations according to the prefixes of Russia (Thanks to Eduard, UA4NX) 

If you currently have VQLog 2.3B installed ....Please follow these steps:

1. Download the file TABLAS23B.ZIP and save it in some temporary folder of your hard disk (C:\TEMP\VQLOG , for instance)
2. UnZip it and extract the file TABLAS.MDB
3. Make sure that VQLog is NOT currently running in your computer. Otherwise quit it.
4. Copy this new file TABLAS.MDB to the folder where you have VQLog installed (By default it should be in C:\Program files\VQLog 2....) replacing the existing (older) file
5. Run VQLog normally

This version of TABLAS.MDB file for VQLog 2.3B includes the new satelite SO-50, the satellite modes U-S2, L1-S2 & L2-S2 and new transmission modes JT6M & PSK63. It also corrects a bug in the assignation of KP3, NP3 and WP3 prefixes and supports the new 73 KHz and 5 MHz (60 m.) bands.allocated in some countries (USA and U.K.)
