Setup and execution in Windows Vista & Windows 7

Due to the peculiarities of  Windows Vista and Windows 7 it's necessary to run as Administrator both the setup program and the VQLog program once installed. Here you have a detailed description of how to do it.

Setup:

• Once you have downloaded the setup or update program and you have placed it in an empty temporary folder, like C:\TEMP\VQLOG for instance, you must go to that folder using "Start - Computer".

  

• When you are in the temporary folder that holds the setup/update program (vqlog31setup) click on it with the right (secondary) button of the mouse and select "Run as administrator". Remember that it's important that the only file in that folder is the setup program.

• Select the option "Allow"

• Now the VQLog setup/update program will start.  Follow the easy setup instructions on display.

Execution:

• Once the program in installed, in order to run it without problems, you must change the start-up so that it's always run as Administrator. To do it go to "Start - All programs"

• Look for the start-up icon of  VQLog 3.x in the sub-menu VQLog 3.x.and click on it with the right (secondary) button of the mouse and select "Properties". If you don't run VQLog with that start-up icon, but with another created by you (on the desktop, etc.), remember you must make the changes below for that icon.

• Go to the "Compatibility" folder and tick the box "Run this program as an administrator"
